the fire-drake
towering the horizon, immortal by fire
dark shadow covers all in moldy darkness
reinforced draconic scales outnumber the light
his mouth reeks of slippery secretion.
as big as a mountain, he kisses the sun
with a wretched, ever-molten breath
rushing jaws, ancalagon the black
a servant of morgoth, gone with the towers.
